Everyone loves pizza…and I do mean EVERYONE!! Are you looking for a healthier alternative? Why don’t you try this Zucchini Crust Pizza? Its crust is obviously healthier than normal crust and this pizza has other ingredients which are better for you too. You have to try it for yourself!! Here is what you’ll need to make Zucchini Crust Pizza:
3 cups shredded zucchini
3/4 cup egg substitute
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
2 small tomatoes, halved and thinly sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup julienned green pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
3 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
Just one word of advice tho. You might want to eat this pizza with a knife and fork (as an Italian, that hurt just to type!) because, I wouldn’t trust that zucchini crust to be very stable.
