My family loves SPICY dishes, so I decided to try this “Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken Stir-Fry”. There’s one member of my family who HATES to eat VEGGIES, but loves Chinese food…go figure! I found this recipe on “My Recipes”, and you know what? I have a good feeling about it! This dish has sriracha hot sauce which will hopefully disguise the veggies, but at the same time, I think the dish itself is sweet enough to disguise the heat as well. Talk about the best of both worlds!
Here is what you’ll need to make Sweet & Spicy Chicken Stir-Fry:
1 small head cauliflower, cored, cut into small florets2 tablespoons honey2 tablespoons hot sauce such as sriracha1/4 cup low-sodium chicken broth1 teaspoon cornstarch3 tablespoons soy sauce3 tablespoons rice vinegar3 tablespoons vegetable oil1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into strips2 cloves garlic, finely chopped1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger3 scallions, white and pale green parts finely chopped, dark green parts sliced2 cups cooked rice, optional
Feel free to make this dish as spicy/sweet as you want to match your own personal tastes. Be sure to check out My Recipes for the full instructions. Enjoy!
Whoa! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a completely different topic but it has pretty much the
same page layout and design. Excellent choice of colors!
