We’ve had a lot going on this summer, like a lot of get-togethers where I’m always looking to bring something simple yet delicious and new. Finger foods are the best and of course I don’t want to be cooking forever. This is a recipe I found recently and it really came out good! It’s a real basic recipe with simple ingredients, is very easy to put together and only has to bake for about a half hour. After it cools, you slice it up and then serve. I got this recipe from Pampered Chef website so they do mention using a lot of their products to slice and dice, but you can use what ever you have in your kitchen. I usually make more than one and they go pretty quick, so don’t expect to have any leftovers.
Here’s what you need:
1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, divided
2 packages (10 ounces each) refrigerated pizza crust
8 ounces thinly sliced deli roast beef
8 ounces thinly sliced American cheese
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon water
This recipe comes to you thanks to Pampered Chef. This is a great and unique twist on the classic Philly Cheese Steak that I know you will all love! You really need to try this! If you would like to do so, be sure to head on over to The Pampered Chef now for the full instructions. Enjoy!
