It’s strawberry season, get all the strawberries you want before they’re gone!!!! This Strawberries and Cream Tart is so simple to make and it’s incredibly delicious! All you have to do is buy your crust, bake it; while it’s cooling you can make the filling (just make sure you put it in the fridge when you’re done). Now you’re on your way to making the strawberries, all you have to do is wash, hulled and halved the strawberries; put on top of filling with melted chips. Keep it in the fridge until dessert time. Now wasn’t that EASY!! I would like to thank Pillsbury for doing a fantastic job with this one!
Here is what you’ll need to make Strawberries and Cream Tarts:
Crust
1 box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on boxFilling
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup whipping cream, whippedTopping
4 cups fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, halved
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening
