Well, if this doesn’t bring me back to the Hawaiian Islands, NOTHING will! Ahh, where the cool summer breeze blows, the scent of Hibiscus flowers, everyone wearing Hawaiian dresses and shirts, the flower lei, the taste of fresh pineapple…which brings me to this recipe for Pineapple Mango Lemonade that I recently stumbled upon. This picture definitely brings those memories back to me. I could remember sitting by the pool with a refreshing glass of pineapple mango lemonade (the lemonade I had was spiced with rum, but that’s another story.)

You can go to your local food market to get some (fresh) pineapples and some pineapple juice and pineapple chunks and mangos. Then on your way home stop at Michael’s Craft Store for the flower lei’s and anything else that looks Hawaiian…oh, what fun you’re gonna have putting together your Hawaiian theme party!!!!

I would like to thank Jaclyn and Cooking Classy for this Hawaiian bash.

Here is what you’ll need to make Pineapple Mango Lemonade:

1 1/4 cups freshly squeezed and strained lemon juice, chilled
3 1/2 cups cold water
3/4 cup + 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 (46 oz) can Dole Pineapple juice, chilled
1 (32 oz) bottle Mango nectar (100% juice), chilled
Frozen pineapple chunks or mango chunks (optional)
Ice

It doesn’t really matter if you have any fond memories of Hawaii or you just want something tasty to keep you nice and cool this Summer, either way, this recipe is the way to go! Yummy! For the full instructions, head over to Cooking Classy now. Enjoy!
