I was looking for a dessert recipe for something that would be easy and convenient to bring to a baby shower and I stumbled on this recipe. I had been looking for a simple “finger food” style dessert, and I think I found just the thing!
It’s a recipe for Nature Valley Peanut Butter Boppers and is really a great dessert! First of all, I’m a fan of nature valley granola bars, so using them in a dessert recipe was intriguing. Second, my mother used to make chocolate covered peanut butter balls every Christmas, so the recipe for these boppers brought back a lot of memories.
My daughter and I put these treats together and they were a lot fun, easy, and the perfect choice. They were also a HUGE hit at the party too, and that’s what counts! We were so glad we made them and had even more fun eating them.
Here’s what you need:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
3 pouches Nature Valley™ oats ‘n honey crunchy granola bars (from 8.9-oz box)
1/4 cup semisweet miniature chocolate chips
5 oz chocolate-flavored candy coating
