I’m always looking for chicken drumstick recipes and this is the first Japanese style that I’ve seen. It mixes balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, chilli pepper and more that makes a glaze that you put on the chicken that has such a gooey and delicious taste, it is wonderful!
It’s so sticky and good, and I love it so much, I always double the glaze recipe and I recommend this to you. The kids and I love to make different french fries whenever we make this chicken. We make it an “eat with your fingers night” and it’s a great time! Let me know what you think of this recipe and whether you were happy you made more glaze. I guarantee that your family will want this again and again!
Here’s what you need:
8 chicken drumsticks, skin on (the skin is important for flavor, and is so tasty to eat!)
1 cup water
1⁄2 cup balsamic vinegar
1⁄3 cup soy sauce
2 1⁄2 tablespoons sugar
1 garlic clove, peeled and bruised
1 small hot chili pepper, slit open, seeds removed
Thanks for this recipe goes to JustJanS at Food.com. I often make chicken legs because they are so simple. Usually I just use some basic seasonings, but not anymore! This is the best chicken leg recipe I’ve found in quite some time, and believe me when I say, I doubt anything will be able to top it any time soon!
