Boy, that title was a mouthful, eh? Well, after you make this dish, your mouth will be TOO FULL to care!
Whenever you think of having chicken for dinner, most people go directly for the chicken breasts in the store. I like to mix things up a bit, and I’m always looking to stretch my dollar, so if you haven’t done this before, next time you want chicken, pick up chicken drumsticks. You can get a huge package of drumsticks, which usually I can get 2 different meals out of, for a lot less then a package of breasts and drumsticks are amazing taste wise.
This is such an easy recipe. The chicken cooks on a low temperature so it will take just over an hour to be set, but you use your favorite sweet chili sauce, so you’ll love it. The Brussels sprouts and shallots are perfect sides, but it all depends on your taste, so you can make any \thing with the chicken and I’m sure it’ll be great. Let me know what you think.
Here’s what you need:
5 chicken drumsticks
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce plus extra to serve
100 g fresh Brussels sprouts
50 g shallots
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp ground black pepper
