There are so many birthday parties coming up, and this cake in particular is bound to make a BIG impression. You can make this Strawberry Cake for your guests, it’s delicious and, best of all, there are so many ways to make this cake!
Be creative, and see what you can come up with using the following ingredients:
2 3/4 cups (344 g) cake flour
2 1/2 tsp. (12.5 g) baking powder
1 cup (227 g) butter, softened
2 cups (400 g) white sugar
1 (3 oz) (84 g) package strawberry flavoured gelatin
4 eggs
1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
1 tbsp. (15 g) vanilla extract
1/2 cup (120 ml) strawberry puree
Also, feel free to add your own flourishes and additional ingredients to make something truly original. As I said above, be creative!
One way is to fill the middle with whipped cream and strawberries, and then top it with buttercream with fresh strawberries on top, or you could also top it with chocolate ganache. Whichever way you decide to make it…I’m sure it will be delicious.
