A couple of weeks ago I was doing a dessert search looking for something new.  I came across this recipe for a Triple Chocolate Cheesecake with an Oreo Crust and, well, that’s all I needed to see, I just HAD to try it!

If you love chocolate and you love Oreos, you are going to love this cake! It looks like it’s going to be too much chocolate, but honestly this cheesecake is really quite delicious. It’ll go a lot faster than you expect, and you may not even have leftovers. You may think it’s too fancy and want to wait and make it for your next get together, but I think you should make it for your family first, they will be very grateful!

Here’s what you need:

For the Crust:
24 Oreo cookies-finely crushed
1/4 cup unsalted butter-melted
For Cheesecake Filling:
2 lbs. cream cheese- room temperature
1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
3 Tablespoon cocoa powder
4 eggs- room temperature
10 ounces bittersweet chocolate-chopped
For Chocolate Topping:
3/4 cup heavy cream
6 oz. bittersweet chocolate-finely chopped
1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
