I don’t know about you, but whenever I have people over my house, whether its just to talk or have an actual party, I often like to serve coffee. I just don’t see the point of having JUST coffee tho. Something else needs to go with it. Something snacky and sweet. The aptly named coffee cake is most often my go-to. You could go the Entenmann’s route if you like, but I always prefer to go homemade if I can. This recipe from All Recipes is something I should try next time! 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
