I had a bunch of Granny Smith apples lying around at home recently, so I started to search for something yummy I could make before they go bad. I found a couple of interesting looking recipes, but I kept going back to this recipe because along with apples it also had caramel and cheesecake in the title, which are some of my favorite words.
These are layered bars that include ingredients that are all pretty basic, most you will probably already have in your pantry. The layers are crust, cheesecake, apples, Streusel, and caramel drizzle topping and are very easy to put together. The smells that will begin to stream out from your kitchen will delight you. From the time I started to make this dessert, we were eating it about 3 hours later after dinner. It’s not quick, but it is worth the wait. Your family will agree!
