After a hard day of working, one of my favorite ways to get rid of stress is to find a good movie, grab a great snack and just relax and have fun for the rest of the night. A lot of the times I’ll just reach for my favorite cookie or cracker, which is great, but then I found this recipe.
Now, yes sometimes I don’t need the extra calories, but it’s so good. This is a recipe for a cannoli dip that has the perfect amount of sweetness to go with just about anything you can think of dipping into it. It’s such an easy recipe that it takes no time at all to put together. You will have to chill it for at least a half an hour, so make it ahead of time, leave it in the fridge and grab it along with your cookies to munch on while watching your favorite movie. It’s guaranteed to rid you of your stress and make you smile.
Here’s what you need:
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup mini chocolate chips
Cookies or ice cream cones for dipping
This awesome recipe comes from Grace Eire at Little Things. Being Italian, cannolis are nothing new to me, but this changes things! I mean, let’s face it, the filling was always the best part. Now, it’s a DIP?! Sign me up! Be sure to head over to Little Things now for the full instructions. Enjoy!
