Whenever we go to our favorite Thai restaurant, we always order the beef satay, or beef on a stick which is what we call it. This recipe isn’t that, but it’s close. If this recipe is even HALF as good as the real thing, then you will love it!
Here’s what you need:
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
3 tablespoons sherry
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon barbeque sauce
2 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
1 1/2 pounds flank steak
skewers
Asian Beef Skewers, as this recipe calls it, is the first thing that we order and it’s the first dish the waiter takes away, it’s that good. I think that it’s a combination of the hoisin sauce and the soy sauce that give this dish a unique flavor.
