1/2 pound frozen phyllo dough, thawed (about 20 sheets)
1 pound bacon, cooked until very crispy and chopped
1 8-ounce package walnut pieces, ground
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 sticks (1/2 pound) butter
3/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup water
