There is no better way to welcome the warm weather, then to make something special for everyone to enjoy! So that’s why I’m thrilled to bring you this tasty treat from the fine folks at Taste of Home. These “Sunshine Cupcakes” will do just that. You can make lemon cupcakes with lemon flavoring and lemon peel in the cupcake…or make them with candy corn as the sun rays. Either way, these cupcakes are inredible! The choice is yours!
Here is what you’ll need to make Summertime Sunshine Cupcakes:
- 1 package lemon cake mix (regular size)
- 1 can (16 ounces) vanilla frosting
- Yellow food coloring
- Miniature semisweet chocolate chips, red shoestring licorice and candy corn
