Life can get hectic and cooking dinner every night can be frustrating. Sometimes, you don’t even want to think about coming up with a dinner idea let alone cook it– especially in this heat! So it’s nice to have some recipes on file that are easy and quick, yet your family will love.
I always have a ham on my grocery list because they’re reasonably priced and there are so many ways you can use it. This recipe is one I found recently that is just SO great! You use Sloppy Joe sauce, but instead of on beef, you use it on ham and it adds just the right amount of sweetness. I never would have thought of it, but it really is tasty! It’s a simple sandwich that is quick to fix. Just add fries, chips and/or a salad and you’ve got a full dinner in just minutes!
Here’s what you need:
1 can (15 oz each) Manwich® Original Sloppy Joe Sauce
1 pound thin-sliced lower sodium honey ham
8 hot dog rolls
1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
24 dill pickle slices
