I love Rachael Ray recipes! They are always very original and tasty! Also, her magazine is great…there is always something that ends up on my kitchen table for lunch or dinner, I just love her. What are you going to do with your package of crescent rolls you have lying around? You’re not just gonna follow the instructions on the box are you? That’s BORING! Racheal has a fantastic recipe for that, “Ham & Leek Hand Pies”, which were great. It has diced ham, leek, spices and cream cheese…and is baked until it’s puffed-up and golden.
Here is what you’ll need to make Rachel Ray’s Ham & Leek Hand Pies:
Flour, for dusting
1 package (8 oz.) crescent roll dough
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
3 large leeks–trimmed, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced, white and pale-green parts only (about 5 cups)
1 package (8 oz.) diced ham
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
3/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
These look super yummy! And I bet they are! Rachael Ray has never let me down! For the full instructions, click here. Enjoy!
