I was looking for a recipe that was different but still very tasty. I think I found it…how does Apple Walnut Gorgonzola Turnovers sound to you!! You fill these ingredients with thyme and honey onto a 3 by 3 inch square of puff pastry; make sure you paint the edges with beaten egg, this will help seal the pastry. Fold the pastry into triangles, use a fork to crimp the edges. Brush the top with beaten egg; place in refrigerator to chill for a while, then bake. Simple! I would like to thank Elise and Simply Recipes for this unique and very tasty turnover.
Here is what you’ll need to make Apple Walnut Gorgonzola Turnovers:

1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled)
2 Tbsp honey
